I grew up in South Austin and have watched this city boom. I know neighborhoods well and can even tell you about a few hidden jewels. I went to Zilker Elementary, O’Henry Middle and Austin High School. I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from UT-Austin. I spent time in Washington as a press secretary and have worked in advertising, communication and sales all my professional life.

Married 20 years, we have two teenage daughters who attend Austin Waldorf School, 2 dogs, 2.5 cats. We live in Southwest Austin but I have family in every part of town. We enjoy movies, volunteering at Austin Pets Alive, running around Town Lake during cool months and a good game of scrabble.
